The Keeper’s House and the Light Tower at Burnt Coat Harbor Light Station will open for the summer season on Tuesday June 22, 2021, and close on Saturday September 11, 2021.
Hours will be from 11 am to 3 pm, Tuesday through Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday.
Historical Society exhibits and art and crafts by local artists will be on display and friendly folks will be on-site to answer questions.
The trails are always open! Almost two miles of trails wind around Hockamock Head and give access to two beaches — Burying Point beach on the harbor side of the peninsula and Long Point Beach on the ocean side. The trails are open dawn to dusk. The rocking chairs on the keeper’s house porch are a fine place to sit and enjoy the view as you watch the lobster boats come and go.
