After a summer with lots of hard work, the 2019 Burnt Coat Harbor Light Tower Restoration Project is complete. The tower exterior masonry has been repaired, repointed and repainted, the underside of the catwalk has been restored, the tower foundation has been repaired and a new entrance platform has been installed, and the tower railing has been replaced. That’s it for 2019! Many thanks to all who supported and encouraged us through this long and not-so-easy project. The photo shows Jim Leslie and Eric Chetwynd shaking hands on completion of the tower railing. We’ll soon be posting a photo gallery on this year’s tower project – watch out for it here and on Facebook!
